PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create an environment by which a designer himself or herself makes a trial concerning a cost and manhour in a short time with high precision in the upstream stage of product development and also a product start-up time is shortened. SOLUTION: A system is provided with an estimation element extracting part 16 for obtaining a parameter required for estimation from a three- dimensional CAD 10, a process setting part 17 for setting work processes based on the obtained parameter, a manhour estimating part 18 for estimating work manhour at every work process, a cost estimating part 19 for multiplying the work manhour by a work rate, adding material expenditure and calculating the cost, a cost analyzing part 20 for evaluating and analyzing a rate- determining main cause based on work manhour estimated by the part 18 and on the cost calculated by the part 19, and a cost simulation part 21 for changing work manhour to execute a cost simulation, analyzing a sensitivity with respect to the cost and supporting an optimum manufacture method and optimum process design. |
