The head panel (1) for a folding-sliding door for a building has an open vertical groove (3) fixed to adjacent vertical panel. The groove has an array of holes for screws for fixing a striker on the panel. The holes are formed in an additional mounting piece (4) formed as a bar which is fixed on the groove of the panel.
