PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for an authentication station in encipher communication, using public key cryptography. SOLUTION: These communication equipment, communication system, communicating method and authenticating device are provided with a cryptographic key preparing means which prepares a 1st pair of cryptographic keys, a cryptographic key exchanging means which exchanges one of the 1st cryptographic keys of the 1st prepared cryptographic key pair with one of 1st cryptographic keys of a 1st cryptographic key pair in 1st cryptography, which is prepared in the opposite communication side in secrecy, and an encipher communicating means which enciphers information by using the 1st cryptographic key of the opposite communication side obtained by the exchange and transmits the information to the opposite communication side.
