PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a plate type two-stage ashtray by providing the bottom of a conventional ashtray with a plate-like material and integrating the ashtray with the plate-like material since the conventional ashtray has nothing at all around a part below an outer peripheral part on which a lighted cigarette is placed and which is straight downward and drop of the cigarette is dangerous. SOLUTION: This ashtray comprises parts (1) and (2) made of a metal, china, glass, stone, etc., and is obtained by providing the bottom of the conventional ashtray with a plate larger than the bottom of the conventional ashtray.
