PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce capacity of a top land clevis formed around a top land without causing problems such as seizure in respect to an inner peripheral surface of a piston. SOLUTION: A top land of a piston 1 is so formed that its outer diameter L1 in a direction of an axis 17 of a piston pin exceeds an outer diameter L2 perpendicular thereto.
