PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a steel column or steel beam constituting the steel structure of a building in a superior fire resistive structure through simple construction work and, at the same time, to secure ventilation. SOLUTION: A longitudinal part of a steel column C constituting a steel structure is formed in a synthetic fire resistive covering structure by covering the part with a fire resistive exterior wall material W and a fire resistive coating material F1 and, in addition, the remaining longitudinal part of the column C is formed in a fire resistive covering structure by covering the part with the coating material F1. Then both sides of the column C are communicated with each other by forming a ventilating passage P1 between the coating material F1 and exterior wall material W of the fire resistive structure.
