PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boots for a universal joint preventing a large diametric side end part of a boots main unit from being opened in slope shape or horn shape when a flexible part of the boots main unit is reversed in an axial direction for combination of the boots main unit with an adapter, thus to be capable of improving workability inserting the large diametric side end part to the adapter. SOLUTION: In this boots for a universal joint, inverting in an axial direction a flexible part 3a of a boots main unit 2 made of elastic material to fixedly insert a large diametric side end part 2b of the boots main unit 2 to an adapter 3, a slope-shaped warp preventing part 2d gradually contracting diametric dimension from a side of the flexible part 2a over to a side of the large diametric side end part 2b in a condition before inversion is integrally molded between the flexible part 2a and the large diametric side end part 2b.
