PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus which can obtain high picture quality spin echo 2 echo image by removing bad effect with always arranging to the most end part, even measurement of artifact formed in the 2 echo image at spin echo 2 echo measurement, is achieved at slipped position from the center of magnetic field to phase encode direction. SOLUTION: The control device for an MRI apparatus is provided with an adjusting device for phase of high frequency magnetic field and measuring phase of unclear magnetic resonance signal depending on he slip amount of measuring range center to the static magnetic field. The generating artifact component is always generated by the frequency corresponding to the most end part of image by achieving measurement by slipping the phase amount (alpha) proportional to the slipping amount, at impressing (pi)/2 pulse at spin echo 2 echo measurement time.
