PURPOSE: A rotating head mounting structure of a rotating cylinder device is provided to fix a rotating head in an upper cylinder by using a coupling hook fixed in the upper cylinder, and not to make a position of the fixed rotating head change by concave parts, so as to set the rotating head in an exact position and to exactly read or record magnetic signals recorded in a tape. CONSTITUTION: A stepped cone hole(22) is formed in an upper cylinder(20) constructed with a rotating cylinder. A coupling hook(30) is assembled in the stepped cone hole(22). A coupling head(32) formed in the coupling hook(30) has an elastic slot. The elastic slot compresses the coupling head(32) to make the coupling head(32) smoothly inserted. A rotating head(40) forms a coupling groove(42) where the coupling head(32) is inserted. A shape of the coupling groove(42) corresponds to a shape of the coupling head(32). Concave parts are formed in the coupling groove(42) corresponding to an upper surface of the coupling head(32). When the coupling head(32) is inserted into the coupling groove(42), the concave parts firmly fix the coupling head(32).
