PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mark a line alignment number which is shown at a location where line alignment operation is performed for separating a part of a graphic string constituted by connecting a plurality of graphics to each other from the string for display, etc., in such a state that a user can easily see a drawing containing the graphic string or the graphic string. SOLUTION: In response to line alignment operation which is performed for separating a part of a graphic string from the string for display, the number of the line alignment point is sorted based on the positional relation of the line alignment point and a line-aligned graphic string carrying the sorted number of the line alignment point at the line alignment point is displayed. Thus continuous line alignment numbers are marked at every graphic string. When a plurality of graphic strings exist in a drawing, the drawing is made easily visible as a whole by marking serial numbers to the graphic strings according to a prescribed rule.
