PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosensitive label which is used for containers, such as glass bottles and plastic bottles, and is suitable for the recyclability of the bottles since the labels are peelable from the containers when the containers are put into an aqueous alkaline solution after use. SOLUTION: This thermosensitive label is formed by providing a label base material with a hot melt type adhesive containing a polymer having an acid value of >=90 mgKOH/g at 7 to 15 g/m2.
