PURPOSE: A CVT(continuous variable transmission) equipment transmits power transmitted from a driving device to a drive shaft to a driven shaft connected to a driven device stably and efficiently and executes gearshift automatically with its gearshift range expanded. CONSTITUTION: A CVT equipment comprises a belt transmission device, guide caps(40), a CVT device and a control device. The belt transmission device has joint pieces(30) with friction rings contacting mutually the outer peripheries of a driving and a driven friction gears(11, 21) and is installed in a way to be wound around the driving and the driven friction gears(11, 21) several times so as to transmit the power of the driving friction gear(11) to the driven friction gear(21). The guide caps(40) have guide rollers(42) guiding the multiple joint pieces(30) not to slide from the inclined outer peripheries of the driving and the driven friction gear(11, 21). The CVT device moves the guide caps(40) on the outer peripheries of the driving friction gear(11) and the driven friction gear(21) to the normal direction or the reverse direction to move the joint pieces(30) on the outer peripheries of the driving and the driven friction gears(11, 21) to the normal direction or the reverse direction by the guide caps(40) so as to change the speed of the power of the driving friction gear(11) and transmit it to the driven friction gear(21). The control device limits the movement of guide caps(40) moving on the outer peripheries of the driving and the driven friction gear(11, 21) to the normal direction or the reverse direction within a certain range.
