The conversion unit consists of a base (1) with uprights (2, 3) at its front and rear ends to receive two rocking supports (5) designed to receive a platform (6) with foot-rests (11) forming part of a ride-on toy (7). Each rocking support has a U-shaped centre section with a straight cross-piece (10) to engage with notches (9) in the platform, and out-turned ends (8) to pivot in holes (4) in the uprights.
