PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post-mounting hydrophilic mirror which is surely mountable, contributes to the reduction of the thickness of a packing box and does not hinder the hydrophilicity by the volatile components included in a buffer material. SOLUTION: The size of the mirror 1 is made smaller by 0.2 to 0.8 mm than an arbitrary resin frame of a commercially marketed vehicle and further the thickness of double coated tapes 2 is specified to 0.8 to 2.4 mm and the base material of the tapes is made of an acrylic foam, by which the sure post- mounting and fixing of the hydrophilic mirror to an existing mirror, the reduction of the buffer material between the mirrors and the reduction of the thickness of the packing box are made possible. The buffer material free of the volatile components is used in packing the hydrophilic mirror. As a result, the hindrance of the hydrophilicity by the volatile components included in the buffer material manufactured by an ordinary method for manufacture may be prohibited.
