摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stacked battery which prevents short-circuiting therein and has high yield. SOLUTION: A wound battery, a stack battery of the present invention, has wound electrodes consisting of positive and negative electrodes 21 and 22 and two sheets of separators 23 interposed in between. This wound electrode has insulating layers 216 and 226 made of insulation resin, that are formed on both sides of basic portions of protrusions 213 and 223 in the positive and negative electrodes 21 and 23. For this reason, even though non-protruded ends of the positive and negative electrodes are exposed due to an axially missed winding of the separators 23, short-circuiting is prevented between the non- protruded portions of the electrodes 21 and 22 and the basic portions of the protrusions 213 and 223 of the electrodes by virtue of the insulating layers 216 and 226. As a result, yield is increased corresponding to reduction in short- circuiting within the battery.
