EXTRACTION PROCESS OF ETHANOL EXTRACTS FROM POLYOZELLUS MULTIFLEX CONTAINING ACTIVE COMPOUND AND METHOD FOR PURIFYING ACTIVE COMPOUND FROM EXTRACTS

PURPOSE: An extraction method of ethanol extracts from polyozellus multiflex containing anti-dementia, anti-oxidant and anti-tumor compounds and a purification method of the compounds from the extracts are provided for easily protecting and treating various adult diseases. CONSTITUTION: A method for extracting ethanol extracts from polyozellus multiflex containing Kynapcin-12, Kynapcin-13, Kinapcin-24, Kinapcin-28 and thelephoric acid comprises repeatedly extracting Kynapcin-12, Kynapcin-13, Kinapcin-24, Kinapcin-28 and thelephoric acid; extracting the purified compounds; vacuum filtering or lyophilizing and dispersing the extracts with water then extracting it in three parts by ethylacetation. Thereafter, the last extracts are washed with saturated saline, dehydrated with sodium sulfate anhydride, and filtered to produce a filtrate. The filtrate is concentrated under vacuum to obtain soluble ethylacetate extracts. The extracts are dispersed by adding methanol and dividing into a supernatant liquid containing methanol soluble component and a precipitate containing methanol insoluble component. Then, another part of methanol is added to the insoluble component to extract another soluble component. All of the soluble components are concentrated under vacuum pressure into the active compounds such as Kynapcin-12, Kynapcin-13, Kinapcin-24, Kinapcin-28 and thelephoric acid.
