PURPOSE: A seed germinator and a method for controlling the same are provided, thereby, optimum conditions for seed germination is provided and thus the seeds are germinated without regarding the four seasons. CONSTITUTION: The seed germinator is characterized by comprising: a part for setting up germination conditions(10); an operating part(30) for operating a water supplier(32), an oxygen supplier(34), temperature controller(36), and light controller(38); a display(60) showing the conditions set up; and a control part(20) for controlling the operating part, according to the result sensed by a sensor(50).
