PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make electric discharge less apt to occur between the brazed joint of the large diameter pipe section of a ceramic pipe-shaped body and the brazed joint of the first and the second ceramic pipe-shaped section materials. SOLUTION: A ceramic coaxial terminal T1 has a bar-shaped central conductor 1, a ceramic pipe-shaped body 10 into which the central conductor 1 is inserted and fixed and which has almost the same length as the central conductor 1 and also has a large diameter pipe section 2a of the outer portion of the center, and an outside conductor 4 into which the ceramic pipe-shaped body 10 is inserted and brazed with the large diameter pipe section 2a and which is longer than the ceramic pipe-shaped body 10. The ceramic pipe-shaped body 10 is formed, by brazing the first ceramic pipe-shaped section material 2 including one end of the ceramic pipe-shaped body 10 up to the large diameter pipe section 2a with the second ceramic pipe-shaped section material 3 including the other end of the ceramic pipe-shaped body 10 via the metal washer 7. From the brazed joint 8 at the large diameter pipe section 2a to the brazed joint 9 with the second ceramic pipe-shaped section material, the first ceramic pipe- shaped section material 2 is coated with a silica coating 12 formed by condensation reaction of alkyl silicate.
