<p>PURPOSE: A returnless fuel supply type double solenoid injector is provided to prevent the generation of surge pressure and to stably supply fuel by installing two solenoids with spools operated individually in an injector body. CONSTITUTION: Two solenoids(10,20) operating individually are installed in an injector body(100). A connecting unit(110) connecting spools(11,21) of the solenoids with a fuel rail and a nozzle unit(120) are opened and shut off opposite to each other. If the first and second solenoids are in an off state, the first spool(11) is protruded outwardly and so is the second spool(21). Herein, the nozzle unit is closed by the first spool while a passage(12) is opened. Thus, fuel is supplied from the fuel rail. After fuel supply, the passage(12) connecting the connecting unit with a passage(130) is inserted into the injector body and inflow of fuel into the injector body is restrained. Thereafter, the second solenoid(20) in an on state pulls the second spool and the nozzle unit is opened. Finally, the fuel in the injector body is injected to a combustion chamber via the nozzle unit. Therefore, fuel is injected stably without surge pressure.</p> |
