A device for conserving perishable products under nonindustrial conditions, comprises a receptacle (1) for housing a carbon dioxide cartridge (2), a gas line (3) with a valve (6) joined to a dosing mechanism, and a gas delivery tube (8). An Independent claim is also included for an application of the proposed device for preservation of perishable products which are housed in a sealable container.
