PURPOSE: An apparatus for reducing electromagnetic interference of an electric type tachometer is provided to satisfy a gauge of electromagnetic interference, and to prevent failed operation of peripheral devices. CONSTITUTION: An electric power circuit(2) is connected to terminals of number 15 and number 16 of an integrated circuit(1) for a tachometer. The tachometer performs the control for receiving and recording information about the rotating speed of an engine in a car. A moving coil(L1) is connected between a terminal of number 10 and a terminal of number 11 of the integrated circuit, and a moving coil(L2) is connected between a terminal of number 12 and a terminal of number 13. A nonpolar electrolytic condenser(C1,C2) is connected to the input terminals of the moving coil for reducing the electromagnetic wave of 300 KHz and a high frequency component thereof. An electrolytic condenser(C3) is connected to the input terminal(IG+) of the electric power circuit for reducing the electromagnetic wave noise of 1 MHz to 10 MHZ band.
