PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing vitamin K2-rich chicken meat. SOLUTION: This method for producing vitamin K2-rich chicken meat comprises giving poultry a feed containing vitamin K1 and/or vitamin K3, singly or in total, at 10 to 1,000 ppm to raise the poultry thus fed. Thereby, chicken meat containing a large amount of vitamin K2 having high activity to the human body can be obtained using inexpensive vitamins K1 and K3, and moreover, the thus obtained chicken meat is extremely useful as vitamin-K deficiency disease-preventive food because of being capable of maintaining the concentration of vitamin K3 in the chicken meat. |
