CEMENT MODIFIER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of blending blast furnace slag to concrete/mortal without inhibiting the hydration reaction of cement and the method for imparting required corrosion resistance and durability into the cement/ mortal. SOLUTION: The method is achieved by blending the blast furnace slag and hydrotalcite into cement. This cement modifier contains hydrotalcite or hydrotalcite and the blast furnace slag. The concrete or mortal composition uses the cement modifier.
