PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fused salt electrolyzer capable of more uniformly and fixedly holding the temperature of a fused salt bath. SOLUTION: In a fused salt electrolyzer 1 provided with an electrolytic cell 3 made of graphite for retaining a fused salt bath 18, a fused salt electrolytic vessel 2 disposed with the electrolytic cell 3 made of graphite at the inside and a cover body 4 provided with an electrode 5 electrodepositing metal from the fused salt bath 18 and making the state at the inside of the fused salt electrolytic vessel 2 to the sealed one by being fitted to the upper opening of the fused salt electrolytic vessel 2, a space between the liquid face of the fused salt bath 18 retained to the electrolytic cell 3 made of graphite and the cover body 4 is provided with a shielding board 6 for shielding radiation heat generated from the fused salt bath 18.
