PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly prevent a sheet jam at a curl correcting part, and preferably prevent the generation of static electricity in a sheet at the time of curl correcting. SOLUTION: In a curl correcting device executing curl correcting to a sheet 1 generating a curl 1a, a correcting rotational element pair 2 (namely 2a, 2b) wherein at least one correcting rotational element is made of an elastic rotational element 2a, and a guide chute 3 arranged in an entrance side of the correcting rotational element pair 2 and leading the sheet 1 to a nip area of the correcting rotor pair 2 are provided. On at least either one of the correcting rotational elements, for example 2a, a plurality of divided rotational elements 4 are divided through a notch recess part 5, and on the guide chute 3, a chute extending portion 6 projecting into the notch recess part 5 between the divided rotational elements 4 is provided. And on both end portions in an axial direction of at least either one of the correcting rotational elements, for example 2a, a large diameter portion 7 having a larger diameter than the other parts is formed.
