PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide footwear equipped with an electric discharge member generating ozone in the footwear so as to suppress or expel bacteria. SOLUTION: Since footwear 1 is sanitary footwear equipped with an ozonizer for suppressing proliferation of bacteria, athlete's foot can be prevented and cured. The footwear 1 comprises a casing 4 made of a metal or resin having a piezoelectric ceramic member 5 inside its heel part 2 and a driving lever 7 in a pin axis 8 of the aforementioned casing 4. The aforementioned driving lever 7 is connected with a driving plate 9 and a spark electrode 5 including electricity that is generated to the inside of the aforesaid footwear 1 due to a piezoelectric effect at the time when the aforementioned piezoelectric ceramic member 51 is compressed by the pressure at the time when a person wearing the footwear is walking so as to generate ozone to the inside of the aforesaid footwear 1.
