PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method and device for a friction plate for a clutch in which plural friction material segments can be applied to an application surface of a core plate in a shorter time than in conventional devices to prevent position deflection of the friction material segments on the core plate caused by application condition irregularity. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method for the friction plate for the clutch comprises a containing process of containing plural friction material segments 2 circularly on one surface 70a of a holding member 4, and an application process of putting an application surface of a core plate 8 to be close to one surface 70a of the holding member 4, and energizing the friction segments 2 held by the holding member 4 to be applied. In the meanwhile, this manufacturing device for the friction plate for the clutch comprises a holding member 4 having one surface 70a for circularly containing plural friction segnets 2, a first energization member 7 to energize the friction segments 2 to be contained on the holding member 4, a support member 9 to support a core plate 8 having an application surface, and a second energization member 7b to energize the friction segments 2 held on the holding member 4 to be applied to the core plate 8 supported by the support member 9 at a position where the application surface is close to one surface 70a. |
