PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jet pump appropriate to discharge a large flow of the fluid while embedding the pump in the fluid and sucking the fluid in the surroundings. SOLUTION: This jet pump is provided with an injection nozzle and a venturi pipe having a flow-in port facing to a discharge port of the injection nozzle with a clearance. Periphery of the clearance between the discharge port of the injection nozzle and the flow-in port of the venturi pipe is opened to an outside space.
