摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engineering method for preventing the liquefaction of sandy soil ground by which the infiltrating distance of a liquid chemical containing silica particles into the ground can be increased and the cost can be reduced. SOLUTION: In an engineering method for preventing the liquefaction of sandy earth ground, a liquid chemical prepared by adding a hardner to an essential component composed of a colloidal solution prepared by scattering silica particles in water is injected into the sandy soil ground. The mean particle diameter of the silica particles is adjusted to 3-6 nm and the concentration of the silica particles in the essential component is adjusted to 0.28-2.25 wt.%. In addition, a neutral or acidic salt is used as the hardner contained in the liquid chemical. When the neutral salt is used, the concentration of the salt in the liquid chemical is adjusted to 0.01-10.0 wt.% and, when the acidic salt is used, the concentration of the salt in the liquid is adjusted to 0.1-1.0 wt.%.
