<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve output of an engine, prevent overheat of an ignition, and reduce generation of HC, CO by increasing a velocity of a mixture flow, and preventing excessive fuel supply in the upstream cylinder and shortage of fuel in the downstream cylinder. SOLUTION: A carburetor mounting seat 8 and an intake inlet 9 are provided on an end wall of a box-shaped intake manifold 5. A carburetor 10 is mounted on the carburetor mounting seat 8. The intake inlet 9 is formed in a tapered shape. A direction of an axis 11 of the tapered intake inlet 9 is deviated to the side farther from a side surface 3 of a cylinder head 2 in respect of the direction of an axis 12 of the carburetor 10.</p> |
