LUBRICATION STRUCTURE OF SPLINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the lubrication structure of a spline which can simplify the structure of the shaft for forming a spline and broach it and reduce the machining cost of the shaft. SOLUTION: An oil dam 27 for forming an oil sump 26 needed to the lubrication of a spline 22 is formed insertingly to a plug 28 different from a spline boss 22a. Thereby, only the spline boss 22a is machined on the shaft 21 and then the structure of the shaft 21 can be simplified and broached and its machining cost can be reduced.
