PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traverse device for an electric hoist of excellent workability and inexpensive structure to solve problems of troublesome attaching/detaching works of fixing nuts and of expensive structure of special nuts, drilling in connection pins and use of split pins. SOLUTION: Guides 61a, 61b, 61c and 61d are provided as stoppers of a nut 62, and an insertion hole 61h piercing through a connection pin 22 is provided. An L-shaped guide 61e which is parallel to the guide 61b as a stopper of a lock cap and slightly larger than lower ends 21 and 25 is provided. To facilitate the detachment, a lock cap 61 having claws 61f and 61g is provided on tips of both guide parts so as to be fitted to a nut chamfered part 62a. The lock cap 61 is pierced from the insertion hole 61h to the connection pin 22, and inserted therein to engage the claws 61f and 61g with the nut chamfered part 62a.
