PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of designing an optimum water supplying and draining facility capable of reducing the investment in plant and equipment and the equipment cost while reducing the total energy. SOLUTION: In this method of designing a water supplying and draining facility, the water consumption and displacement unit requirement (used water quantity per person and per day) of a sewage system in a toilet is represented by the coefficient to the flushing water quantity of each closet.
