PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning method which prevents the clogging of a draining hole of a garbage treating machine provided with a mesh filter for draining in its bottom and to provide a device for cleaning waste water by separating flushed away animal and vegetable fat and oil components. SOLUTION: The washing of the draining hole in the bottom is executed by releasing washing water from the front ends of agitating vanes for acceleration of the degradation by microorganisms and the fats and foils contained in the flushed away waste water are separated by a centrifuge, by which the waste water is cleaned.
