PURPOSE: An apparatus for injecting and splitting hydrogen in an oxygen reactor is provided which improves refining performance of crude argon by automatically adjusting ratio of hydrogen gas according to content of oxygen, thereby preventing excessive temperature increase of the reactor and promoting oxygen removing reaction. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for removing oxygen contained in crude argon in a facility which produces pure argon by refining crude argon, the apparatus for injecting and splitting hydrogen in an oxygen reactor comprises a ratio generator using as input signals crude argon flow signals outputted from an involution operator(127), oxygen content signals outputted from an oxygen analyzer(133) and outlet surplus hydrogen content at a hydrogen measuring instrument(160) of a second reactor(140), and setting the output value A) as a hydrogen amount ratio of a first reactor(112) and the output value B) as a hydrogen amount ratio of the second reactor(120) after calculating output values A) and B) by the following mathematical expressions 1 and 2 where PV1 is flow of crude argon, PV2 is oxygen content, PV3 is an outlet surplus hydrogen content of the second reactor, and constant is 2.
