PURPOSE:To provide a cord stopper, by which the number of parts can be reduced, assembling can be simplified, even if a cord is not passed through the cord stopper, the respective parts do not scatter, but keep the united state, the total length can be decreased, and the degree of freedom for designing an outer cylinder can be increased not to damage the appearance. CONSTITUTION:A cord stopper comprises a fitting element 1 where two elastic leg pieces 3 are extended from the head part 2 having a horizontal inside cord passing hole 2h to the lower side, and locking pieces 4 projected outward are formed under both ends of the inside cord passing hole 2h, a mounting hole 12 where the fitting element 1 is fitted, and an outer cylinder 11 which has an outside cord passing hole 13 communicated with the mounting hole 12 facing to the inside cord passing hole 2h, where a locking piece 4 is engaged with the upper peripheral edge thereof, the peripheral surface of the mounting hole 12 below the outside cord passing hole 13 being formed as an inclined surface 12f narrowed downward. |
