PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a plasma display panel suitable for making it into a large- scale. SOLUTION: A plasma display panel is provided with a front surface glass substrate 21 having X electrodes 22 and Y electrodes 23 arranged in parallel with each other and for performing sustaining discharge, and a back surface glass substrate 28 having address electrodes 29 arranged perpendicular to the X electrodes 22 and the Y electrodes 23 and for performing discharge for writing data. One larger display screen is constituted by combining a plurality of unit plasma display panels.
