Packaging machine for boxes of fish and seafood has inclined chute and heated bar to seal ends of synthetic sleeve

The packaging machine consists of an inclined chute (2) of suitable dimensions to receive a box of the type normally used to hold fish or sea food, a base (3) at the lower end of the chute and a heated bar (4) on a pair of pivoted arms to seal the ends of a sleeve of a synthetic material as the box slides into it. The bar contains an electrical resistance which is switched on when it meets a micro-contact at the lower end of its travel and welds the sleeve.
