PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the position control of, for example, a swing arm which is highly accurate and to speed it up by controlling the radial resonance frequency of a rolling bearing device. SOLUTION: A dummy mass 10 is mounted to the outer circumference part of a housing 2, and a shaker 11 capable of oscillation approximately in tehe radial direction (direction of the arrows B) of a shaft 1 is mounted to the outer circumference part of the dummy mass 10. A displacement sensor 9 for detecting oscillation in the radiation directions is arranged in the outer circumference of the shaft 1, to detect radial resonance frequencies on the basis of a detection signal of a displacement sensor 9. The radial resonance frequencies are obtained in this way, and each part of the bearing device is controlled (adjusted), in such a way that the radial resonance frequencies lie within a prescribed range. With this constitution, it is possible to further accelerate high accuracy and speed-up of the position control of a swing arm, etc.
