PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts for a uniaxial type input device used for a controller or the like for a home television game machine and to make it unnecessary to solder the parts and a substrate. SOLUTION: A straight advancing slider 53 is integrated into a holder 52 for supporting a rotary key top 51 and fixing the key top 51 on a substrate 60. The slider 53 executes straight advancing motion in accordance with the depression of the key top 51. A contact 54 is attached to the bottom of the slider 53 and brought into contact with a resistor circuit formed on the surface of the substrate 60. A volume is integrated into an input device.
