PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce unexpected potential fluctuation in an applied electric path and to suppress an erroneous display of a liquid crystal segment by providing laying electric paths connecting between plural applied electric paths or between the applied electric paths and ground through high resistance value conductors. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device 1 has a lead terminal holder 40 provided with a high resistance value conductive holder main body connecting between respective adjacent external terminals as the laying electric paths Iai connecting between plural applied electric paths IVi through the high resistance value conductors Ri between respective liquid crystal segments SGi-switches SWi. By providing the laying electric paths Iai, even when the main cause of the potential fluctuation occurs in the applied electric paths Ivi of the case, etc., when an external noise, e.g. electromagnetic induction due to an electromagnetic wave occurs in the applied electric path Ivi between the liquid crystal segment SGi and the switch SWi, since electric charges occurring there are dispersed through the laying electric paths Iai, the potential fluctuation is suppressed, and the erroneous display of the liquid crystal segments SGi is prevented.
