PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an advertising device for transmitting advertisement or information during stool. SOLUTION: An image and/or a video is provided at a position that can be easily and visually recognized during stool, and is made to flash in relation to a sensor for detecting existence of a person using a light beam, a radio wave, a magnetic wave, a pressure, and a temperature. The figure illustrates a state in which an advertising device 1 is juxtaposed with the sensor 2 installed near a urinal. A drawer 4 is provided for a frame body 3, a display mechanism is stored in it, and the image or the video appears on its front surface. The image or the video is provided by illuminating or projecting a pattern or a character drawn on a transparent body, or using an LC, CRT display. As a light source of the illumination, a light emitting sheet or a lamp is used. During the stool, visual nerve is moderate, and the person remembers something visual. A required period is not so long, but the person cannot move, so that the person naturally directs his/her eyes to any image or video displayed in front of him/ her, and communication effect of information is large. A closet bowl comprises an individual sensor for detecting existence of the person to activate the advertising device 1.
