PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably supply power by surely abutting a contact terminal on a button battery. SOLUTION: This contact terminal 10 comprises a body part 12 formed by stamping and bending of a metal plate, a leg part 13, a horizontal piece 14 and tilting pieces 15, and the tilting pieces 15 are formed into a bifurcated form by a cut-out part 16. This contact part for a button type battery is formed by projecting inner edge parts 17, 17 of both the tilting pieces 15, 15 facing to each other through the cut-out part 16 ahead.
