PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a magnetic ferrite material and a magnetic core which are less in loss and have high magnetic permeability by noticing Ca and S contents in the ferrite material. SOLUTION: A magnetic ferrite material manufactured by molding calcined powder obtained by calcining a raw material in a desired shape is made to contain one or more kinds of oxides selected out of Mn2O3, NiO, CuO, MgO, and ZnO, 10-200 ppm S, and 10-500 ppm Ca. A magnetic core is constituted of the above-mentioned magnetic ferrite material. |
