The road/sidewalk shaft has a cover with at least two rotating bolts at the flat bar (7) in a release mounting. A housing section is mounted at each bolt, with an arc-shaped peripheral wall and upper and lower closure walls. The housing section swings at a fixed housing section, which also has an arc-shaped peripheral wall and upper and lower closure walls. Each bolt is keyed to a rotating bolt axis (11), with an operating knob (12), which can be accessed from the upper side of the shaft cover (1).
