METHODS AND SYSTEMS PROVIDING A PERSISTENT EVOLVING DATABASE

A computer implemented method for assisting a plurality of users in organizing, prioritizing and achieving goals both financial and non-financial. The method includes providing a strategy database which is available to a plurality of users. The strategy database includes strategy data which may be integrated with goals and financial data of a particular user in order to develop a plurality of possible strategies which when implemented by a particular user tend to improve a goal accomplishment forecast for the particular user. The method further includes receiving a new strategy for the particular user, the new strategy being different from the plurality of possible strategies developed from the strategy database. The strategy database is then updated to reflect the new strategy provided by the particular user, thereby making the new strategy available to others of the plurality of users. The strategy may preferably be maintained on a server computer and at least one of the plurality of users operates on a client computer coupled with the server computer via a computer network such as the Internet.
