PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a larynx stroboscope entirely of semiconductors so that the larynx stroboscope which is so large that it can be realized only as a device using discharge tubes as light sources can be miniaturized and made lightweight. SOLUTION: A very small television camera (CCD camera or the like) 1 and light-emitting diode light sources 4, 5, 6, 7 which blink or turn on continuously in or out of synchronism with vibration of the vocal cords are mounted at the end of a bar-shaped probe, which is then orally inserted to illuminate the larynx to enable the motion of the vocal cords to be photographed for observation by the television cameras.
