PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacture of a molded piston for a hydrau lic buffer. SOLUTION: Knurling machining is applied on the outer peripheral surface of a piston 7P, and a washer-form piston band W made of resin is fitted in one end of the outer peripheral surface on which knurling machining is exerted. Through the passage of the piston band through the cylinder hole of a molding jig heated to a given temperature, the piston rod made of resin is contact-bonded in a thermal deformed state on the outer peripheral surface of the piston on which knurling machining is applied.
