PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a writing element from protruding when an attached article- holding member is accidentally pressed accompanying the usage of an attached article, by fitting a knocking member is such a manner that the attached article of the attached article-holding member, which is fitted on the rear end section of a barrel cylinder, may be covered, and at the same time, setting a gap between them for the portion of a knocking stroke. SOLUTION: For this writing utensil, the tip end of a writing element is projected from the tip end of a barrel cylinder 2 through a sliding body 12 by a sliding member 8, and a writing is performed. In this case, an attached article-holding member 9 is press-fitted in the rear end section of the barrel cylinder 2, and e.g. an eraser 10 of an attached article is fitted in the an attached article-holding member 9. At the same time, a knocking member 11 is fitted in a manner to cover the eraser 10. That is, a protruding section 15 formed on the tip end of the knocking member 11 is passed through the bottom wall of the attached article-holding member 9 and brought into contact with the sliding body 12. Then, a rib 16 formed on the inner peripheral surface of the knocking member 11 and a protuberance 18 formed on the sliding body 12 are fitted. Then, between the upper end surface of the eraser 10 and the head section 17 of the knocking member 11, a gap, which is not less than the knocking stroke portion, is set. |
