PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange a side reinforcement layer having a crescent shape in section which restrains a buckling phenomenon and improves run flat durability without increasing tire mass. SOLUTION: In this pneumatic tire in which a side reinforcement layer 10 having a crescent shape in section for applying a run flat property is provided between a carcass layer 4 of a side wall part 3 and an inner liner layer 7, a product of a thickness (mm) of the inner liner layer 7 and a 50% tensile modulus (Mpa) is more than 10.
